Magic: The Gathering and Marvel recently launched their second full set collaboration, and some of these cards are far more sought-after than others. At the time of writing, here are the most valuable cards you can pull in the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes Set:
The Mind Stone
Similar to the Soul Stone found in the MTG x Spider-Man set from September 2025, Wizards of the Coast has included The Mind Stone in this Marvel set with similar variations:
- Standard ver.
- Borderless ver.
- Cosmic Foil ver.
The Standard and Borderless versions of The Mind Stone can be found in regular Play Booster Packs while the Cosmic Foil can only be found in Collector Booster Packs.
The Cosmic Foil version is the most coveted MTG card in this set, and one of the most sought after cards in the hobby’s recent history. Wizards of the Coast has mentioned that there is be “less than 150 in existence” via their YouTube Debut promo in June. Although no sale has been made, it’s rumored the card could net up to $30,000 – $40,000.
It’s clear that this isn’t the last collaboration between Marvel & Wizards of the Coast. While we wait for future set announcements, it’s clear that the variations of the Infinity Stones will continue for The Space Stone, The Reality Stone, The Power Stone, and The Time Stone.
Back in October 2025, the Soul Stone from Spider-Man was pulled on a livestream on Malaysia-based marketplace platform Collektr, where it sold for $25,000 (~RM100,000). And this still doesn’t compare to cards like The One Ring – a 1 of 1 card from the Lord of the Rings set that Post Malone purchased for $2M from a player that pulled the card back in 2023.
Borderless Comic Book Cards
The next cohort of valuable cards in this set are the Borderless Comic Book Cards. These are cards are repurposed versions of iconic comic book covers of your favorite Marvel characters, such as Jack Kirby and John Romita’s Captain America #193 cover repurposed as Captain America, Super-Soldier.
There are 15 of these cards in total and they can only be found in Collector Booster Packs. The highest in price include:
- Thanos, The Mad Titan Borderless Foil ~ $250
- Doctor Doom Borderless Foil ~ $200
- Ultron, Artificial Malevolence Borderless Foil ~ $90
