Sonic Rumble Party has launched its eighth season, “Armored Warriors,” bringing a new collection of skins, buddies and limited-time events to players this summer. Happening from now until 26 August, this season’s Free Pass includes the Pixel Rouge skin and Pecky buddy, while the Premium Pass features the Knight Sonic Chao buddy and the Virtuous Knight Blaze skin.
Players can also take part in the season’s Skin Fragment Challenges to collect fragments for three additional armoured characters: Dragon Hunter Shadow, Chronos Silver and Iron Knight Charmy. Completing missions and other activities will allow players to gather the fragments needed to unlock the skins.
The Red Star Ring Shop is also offering season-exclusive content, including the Cursed Samurai Infinite skin and Egg Emperor buddy. In addition, the newly introduced Gemerl skin is now available in the shop.
Summer 2026 Event Brings Seasonal Skins
The Summer 2026 event is also underway, with its themed skins available in the Red Star Ring Shop from 29 July until 14 August. The event features four summer-themed skins: Summer Knuckles, Summer Jet, Tropical Storm and Tidal Wave.
Sonic Prime Event Ends 5 August
Meanwhile, the ongoing Sonic Prime Event is approaching its conclusion, and will end on 5 August. The event’s Premium Pass includes the Flicky (Pink) buddy, along with the Gummy Sonic and Mangey skins. Players using the Free Pass can obtain the Ares Island Koco 8 buddy.
The Red Star Ring Shop is also featuring the Chaos Sonic and Thorn Rose skins during the event. The Tails Nine, Rebel Rouge and Mr. Dr. Eggman skins have also returned to the shop for a limited time.
With Season 8, the Summer 2026 event and the Sonic Prime Event all offering limited-time rewards, players have several opportunities to collect new skins and buddies in Sonic Rumble Party this summer. For more information, check out Sonic Rumble on Steam.
