Last Saturday, two members of the main cast for the Dengeki Daisy anime was revealed along with a promotional teaser video. This follows the announcement of the manga getting an anime television series in June, last month.
The anime will be streamed worldwide by Crunchyroll, and is set to premiere in 2027. You can watch the promotional video here!
Playing the role of the series heroine, Kurebayashi Teru, is Aoyama Yoshino. You may recognise Aoyama-san from her roles as Hitori Gotō from Bocchi the Rock! and Tsurumaru Tsuyoshi from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Meanwhile, Yashiro Taku plays Yoshino’s love interest, Kurosaki Tasuku. You might have heard him as Sanosuke Sagara from Rurouni Kenshin (2023) and Shishiba from Sakamoto Days.
About Dengeki Daisy
Dengeki Daisy (Electric Daisy) follows Teru, a girl whose brother has passed away, leaving her with only a cellphone containing the contact of a mysterious Daisy. Teru finds comfort and strength in Daisy, whom her brother says will look after her. However, Teru soon learns that there’s something afoot after meeting Kurosaki Tasuku, her late brother’s friend. As they become familiar with one another, questions arise, along with romantic feelings.
