Persona fans got a double dose of excitement earlier today at the 2026 Xbox Showcase, where Atlus released their first full-length trailer for Persona 4 Revival, a remake of 2008’s Persona 4 with updated visuals, gameplay, and quality-of-life improvements. The company also teased the release of Persona 6, the next instalment in the franchise following 2017’s Persona 5.
“We are delighted to officially announce our work on the next installment of the Persona series and look forward to sharing the incredible efforts that the entire team is putting into Persona 6 for its release after Persona 4 Revival,” said Kazuhisa Wada, Director at P-STUDIO. “As we take this next step, we are thrilled the launch date is set for Persona 4 Revival and fans get to encounter a fresh and modernized experience as they discover the mysteries hidden in Inaba.”
Persona 4 Revival is slated for a February 18, 2027 release, available on the Xbox, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Steam, with the game also being available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. Further details will be released through an official Persona 4 Revival Broadcast Livestream on June 18 (4pm PT / 7pm ET), broadcast via the official ATLUS West YouTube channel and Steam.
