Wholesome Games, the independent curation platform and publisher, just wrapped up its sixth edition of the annual summer showcase, Wholesome Direct, yesterday in conjunction with Summer Games Fest 2026.
Aired on the Wholesome Games YouTube and Twitch channels, audiences worldwide received a varied selection of exclusives including Wholesome Games Presents news, world premieres, demo announcements, and more surprises from studios and publishers of all sizes around the world.
Since 2020, Wholesome Direct has showcased over 1,000 titles, inspiring over 1 million wishlist additions, and raised over $300,000 for charities including Save the Children, AbleGamers, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, American Heart Association, and the International Rescue Committee.
This year, Wholesome Direct merch sales will go towards charity partner Transgender Law Center, the largest national trans-led organization championing the rights of all transgender and gender non-conforming people to make their own choices and live freely, safely, and authentically.

Hidden Folks 2
The indie hit and black and white searching game from 2017 that spawned a whole new genre on Steam. The game is set to release on mobile and desktop in 2027 with hand-drawn, interactive, miniature landscapes in various new themes, together with more silly jokes, more mouth sounds, and various quality of life improvements.
