Farlight Games have released a teaser for AFK Journey’s upcoming crossover event, which will add Frieren and Himmel from the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End to the game. The crossover event will kick off on May 1, 2026, offering brand new content, rewards, and exclusive cosmetics.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End follows Frieren, an elven mage with a lifespan of over a thousand years, as she begins a new journey after her adventuring party defeats the Demon King. The series blends emotional storytelling, memorable dialogue, magical battles, and moments of gentle humor, earning widespread praise from fans around the world.
This crossover marks AFK Journey’s third major IP collaboration, featuring a fully in-universe storyline and quests. Players can recruit numerous heroes, take on powerful foes, and earn rewards both through in-game actions and idle mechanics, all set in the rich and colorful world of Esperia.
