Charge Into Adventure With Robots In BatteryNote, Launching Today On Steam

Japanese developer 72studio and publisher room6 have released BatteryNote, a sci-fi adventure game where you charge up and interact with robots. The game is now available on Steam, with a 10% discount to celebrate the release until October 24th, and an additional 10% off when you purchase the soundtrack bundle.

You play as a failed mechanic who has awoken from a cold sleep, only to come face to face with three broken robots. Recharge the robots within the dimly-lit maintenance room and restore them to life, then probe their memories through dialogue, or simply hit them with a high-voltage current to observe their reactions. However, their batteries will only last a short time, so how you choose to spend their remaining moments is entirely in your hands.

The robot’s reactions will change depending on whether you treat it with kindness or cruelty. Your decisions may affect not only the robot’s fate, but also what ending you come to. Play through the scenes over and over to see all the endings that can occur, or simply focus on making the robots happy.

The game’s soundtrack is also available on Steam, priced at ¥720 (approx. RM20). A bundle with the OST and the game is available at a 10% discount.
