Baki-Dou, the latest installment in the Baki anime series, will exclusively launch on Netflix this February 26, with all 13 episodes of the new series releasing worldwide at the same time.
The Baki series is based on a manga of the same name by Keisuke Itagaki, which originally ran in Weekly Shonen Champion from 2014 to 2018. The story follows Baki Hanma, a young man who trains in deadly hand-to-hand combat in order to defeat his father Yujiro Hanma, the strongest fighter in the world.
The Baki-Dou story arc introduces a new antagonist to the series – a clone of the historical swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, brought to life using cutting-edge technology. The resurrected Musashi proves to be an unprecedented threat to Baki and his fighter companions, forcing them to battle against his legendary sword skills.
