‘Clean Up Earth’ Lets You Save The Planet In-Game And In Real Life

French indie studio Magic Pockets have launched a Kickstarter campaign for Clean Up Earth, a relaxing clean-up game where players can restore polluted environments. Clean landscapes, recycle waste, rebuild ancient structures, and watch nature gradually return.

Clean Up Earth is set to launch on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) in Q2 2026, with console launch dates to be confirmed following its Kickstarter campaign. The game can be enjoyed solo or co-up with up to 30 players; and features an integrated environmental fund, which allows Clean Up Earth to support real-world ecological initiatives through collective in-game actions.

“We didn’t want to create a game about guilt or fear, because we believe change begins with willingness, not fear,” shared Eric Zmiro, founder of Magic Pockets. “We wanted to create a game about hope — one that feels good to play, encourages cooperation, and shows that even small gestures can add up when shared.”

The Kickstarter campaign aims to fund additional content, features, and polish (including new environments, expanded cooperative gameplay, and deeper world-building) while keeping development focused on accessibility, comfort, and meaningful play. A playable demo is also available on Steam.
