The Crayon Shinchan Space & Time Adventure Interactive Exhibition sees its Southeast Asia debut in Malaysia right here at INCUBASE Arena Malaysia in Fahrenheit 88, Kuala Lumpur from 20 December 2025 to 23 March 2026.
Crayon Shinchan has delighted fans for over 35 years with his cheeky humor. This live, interactive exhibit offers families a memorable, photo-ready experience across more than 10,000 square feet of immersive zones, FRP statues, themed photo sets, dazzling light effects, surround sound, and interactive games. Children under the age of 12 will also enjoy a free ice-cream when visiting the exhibition, with this bringing a little sweetness to their lives.

The exhibition brings together five different themed zones. The Nohara family and friends are swept into a mysterious time rift, and it’s up to the visitors to rescue them! Within the first zone, The Nohara Family Living Room, two large statues of Shinchan are posed like Ultraman in a miniature Kuala Lumpur (note the Jalan Sultan Ismail street sign!).
Visitors are encouraged to download the INCUBASE Arena application in order to enjoy the interactive QR scanning game: hidden throughout the exhibition are QR codes of several characters from the series. Scanning each one unlocks them within the app’s interface, alongside dialogue when selected.

Following that, visitors are treated to Shinchan’s Movie Universe, where several rooms feature iconic scenes from several Shinchan movies and visitors can play themed games. One involved matching Shinchan’s poses, and another had visitors fighting to take down a giant robot.
Visitors could also enjoy the Time Tunnel, where they could view 35 years of anime projections, not to mention the Shinchan Museum — which honoured creator Yoshito Usui’s creative journey, alongside illustrations and manga from when it was first serialised in 1990.

Most notable was the room featuring all of the movie posters from 1992 to 2025, alongside statues staged in the middle of the room as well as the cutout standee of the characters in the series. Upon leaving, visitors can leave behind a message on the message wall, and take photos at the Crayon Shinchan themed purikura booth.

Plenty of exclusive merchandise is available for purchase only at this event, alongside several items imported from Japan. Fans eager to take home a piece of the series would find a treasure trove browsing the store.
At the adjacent lot, visitors can also enjoy various Crayon Shinchan themed foods and beverages at the café run by ACOLAB. There were both savoury and sweet options when deciding what to eat too!
