Netflix’s smash animated hit K-Pop Demon Hunters has been on a meteoric rise to fame, officially becoming Netflix’s most-watched film of all time, and even launching pop-up stores across the globe. Now, the hype train shows no signs of stopping, as the in-universe boy group Saja Boys is reportedly planning to debut as a real band.
According to the Korea Times, the Federation of Korean Music Performers (FKMP) recently shared that “all five vocal artists of Saja Boys have recently joined as members.” This is particularly notable as all five artists are primarily based outside of South Korea, but have chosen to register with a Korean music federation, which may signal plans for major promotions within South Korea.
“In a time when K-pop content is spreading worldwide, it is meaningful that artists active mainly overseas have voluntarily joined FKMP. As music produced and released in Korea is consumed globally, FKMP will continue to serve as a central platform to ensure that both domestic and overseas artists receive the rights they deserve,” shared Cho Hyun, head of FKMP’s overseas database team.
The performers behind the Saja Boys’ singing voices are:

- samUIL Lee (Romance Saja): A songwriter who has worked with K-pop groups such as Seventeen, RIIZE, and NCT Dream.
- Kevin Woo (Mystery Saja): Solo artist, former member of the K-pop boy group U-KISS
