My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ second season will begin airing in January 2026, according to an exclusive reveal made during the recent Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair. A new character visual featuring The Crawler, Pop☆Step and Knuckleduster was also shared during the event.
The series is a spin-off set in the My Hero Academia universe, based on a manga by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It follows Koichi Haimawari, a college student who was unable to become an official hero, instead using his Quirk to do good deeds in his spare time. Everything changes when he’s forced to team up with two other unlikely heroes, leading them to become vigilantes.
The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga ran from 2016 to 2022, and was collected into fifteen book volumes. Its anime adaptation began airing earlier this April, with animation from Studio BONES’ newly established BONES FILM subsidiary.
