AniManGaki is back for its second ever online event with AniManGaki Online 2021! Featuring a brand-new summer theme, the event promises to be an eighteen-day celebration of all things anime, cosplay, and gaming.
From the 6th to the 22nd of August, fans will be able to catch a variety of exciting programs live on AniManGaki’s Facebook, Youtube and Twitch channels. Keep reading to learn more about what this event has to offer!
Event Highlights
Guests
AniManGaki Online 2021 is set to feature a diverse lineup of guest stars from around the world, including appearances from Japanese pop group Babybeard, Canadian celebrity cosplayer Vivid Vision, and streamers J Hunter and Maxhaze. VTuber fans are also bound to get a kick out of Kureji Ollie and Liliana Vampaia’s appearances, as well as a special segment from popular Hololive illustrator Tsukino.
Speaking of illustrators, a wide range of artists will be sharing tips and tricks at their respective panels. Brush up on your artistic skills by listening to industry professionals such as Kendylife, Ryosuke Tei, Rachta Lin, and more!

Performances
It wouldn’t be a summer event without some awesome summer jams – and AniManGaki has that covered in spades. While the event will mainly feature anime-inspired artists such as Kururu and ALida from Indonesia, performers from other genres like pop-mosh band Patriots and renowned pianist Ray Mak are also set to make an appearance.
AniManGaki will also be bringing an ACG event staple – the maid cafe – to the online stage, with featured performances from not one, but two different maid cafes from Taiwan, namely Pumpkin Nest Maid Cafe and TUKUYOMI Maid Cafe. We’re definitely excited to see what these two groups bring to the table!

Competitions
Over the last few weeks, participants from all over Malaysia have been hard at work crafting their perfect entry to AniManGaki’s many creative competitions. Fans were eager to show off their skills in each category, from the Idolmon singing competition to the Geek Chef cooking contest, and even cosplay competitions for both humans and pets alike.
These entries are set to be judged by a panel of celebrity guests, with names such as Rikka Blurhound, Shinku, and Yugana Senshi Uon headlining the event. Viewers can also cast their votes for their favourite entries using the links below:

Other Activities
We’re rounding out this article with a quick list of other attractions AniManGaki has to offer, starting with the wide variety of workshops available at the event. You’ll be able to learn from the best in a wide range of industries, including animation with OLM Asia, game development with Panic Inc and Todak Studios, balloon sculpting with Supa Dupa Circus, and many more.
On the other hand, if you’re looking to watch some exciting e-sports matchups, you’ll be glad to hear that the last weekend of the event will be dedicated to videogame tournaments. Fans will be able to watch players duke it out in titles such as Guilty Gear Strive, Hisoutenoku, Tekken 7, and Digimon TCG.
