Cosy city builder Town to City will receive a free update on October 27, 2026, adding new building customisation options, upgraded roads, and improvements to object placement.
The update introduces modular mansion and palace building sets, allowing players to create more personalised city designs. The sets include recolourable foundations, walls, and roofs, along with various windows, doors, balconies, and decorative elements.
Roads have also been reworked, letting players paint them directly onto their cities. Three new road textures are included: Vibrant Plaza, Sandstone, and Cobblestone. The update also further improves the gizmo tool, allowing customised objects to stay attached to surfaces while retaining their modifications when moved or duplicated.
Developed by Dutch independent studio Galaxy Grove, Town to City entered Early Access in September 2025 and currently holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam. Since launch, the game has added features including animals, first-person Free Walk mode, terraforming, and bridges.
