Red Bull has launched the Red Bull Wings Cup, a new global EA SPORTS FC 27 tournament giving players across the UK a chance to compete for a place at the World Final in Miami in January 2027.
The campaign launches alongside Limited Edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans, which feature codes that unlock exclusive in-game rewards.
Limited Edition Cans Unlock In-Game Rewards
Available across the UK from September 1, participating Red Bull cans feature a QR code and unique code under the tab. Players can redeem the codes for:
- 250 EA SPORTS FC 27 Season Points
- An exclusive Red Bull Wings Cup Ultimate Team Kit
- A Red Bull Wings Cup Loan Player Item
The rewards can be redeemed from September 18, allowing players to prepare their Ultimate Teams ahead of the competition. Up to four codes can be redeemed per account.
Road to the UK National Final
The Red Bull Wings Cup competition officially opens on September 27, with players able to qualify through both online and offline events.
PlayStation Tournament Online Qualifiers will run through November 1, while University Qualifiers continue until November 7. Players advancing through the PlayStation Tournament Open Qualifiers and Red Bull Wings Cup live activations will move on to FACEIT Closed Qualifiers.
Six finalists will ultimately qualify for the UK National Final, taking place at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London on November 14. The winner will earn the opportunity to represent the UK at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami in January 2027.
Angry Ginge and Tekkz Join the Campaign
Red Bull player Angry Ginge and EA SPORTS FC esports player Tekkz will lead the UK campaign throughout the tournament.
The competition will also offer fans opportunities to win football and gaming prizes through the ASDA-exclusive Red Bull Wings Cup 4-Pack. Prizes include a trip for two to the World Final in Miami, 23 pairs of Premier League match tickets, Red Bull Wings Cup jerseys, a PlayStation 5 Pro, DualSense controllers and copies of EA SPORTS FC 27.
With qualifiers taking place both online and in person, the Red Bull Wings Cup aims to connect EA SPORTS FC 27 players across the UK while giving competitors a chance to progress from their local qualifiers to an international final in Miami.
