Pokémon officially announced that they will be partnering up with instant film and camera company Polaroid to bring you some awesome Pokémon-themed Polaroid cameras! This collaboration comes as part of Pokémon’s celebration of its 30th Anniversary.
The collaboration features three flavours of Pokémon Polaroid cameras to choose from. The Polaroid Go Instant Camera Generation 3 comes in the cute Pikachu and Sylveon Editions, whereas the Polaroid Now Instant Camera Generation 3 comes in the clean and slick Poké Ball colours, dubbed the Pokémon Edition.
Polaroid will also be releasing a new film line as part of the collaboration. For the Pikachu Edition Polaroids, the film line features the Pikachu evolution line striking some playful poses, while the Sylveon Editions Polaroids comes with films bearing frames of the Eevee evolution line.
Lastly, the Pokémon Edition features a set of films with frames starring some of the franchise’s most beloved and iconic Pokémons such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Mew, and many more!
But wait, there’s more! The Pokémon X Polaroid collection will also have a wide selection of Poké Ball-themed accessories. You can even hold your camera in a case featuring the iconic Pokémon-catching device, which also comes with a matching strap!
The Polaroid X Pokémon collection will launch globally in limited quantities on polaroid.com, with pre-orders opening August 25, 2026, followed by a full release on October 5, 2026.
