CD PROJEKT RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on Battle.net later in 2026, bringing the open-world action RPG and its expansion Phantom Liberty to Blizzard’s PC platform.
The announcement was made during BlizzCon 2026, where CD PROJEKT RED representatives Amelia Korzycka and Miles Tost joined the “30 Years of Battle.net With Special Guest CD PROJEKT RED” panel.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty Head to Battle.net
Battle.net players will be able to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty separately, or pick up the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which includes both the base game and expansion.
The announcement is part of a wider collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and Blizzard Entertainment, which will also bring Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2-themed content to Overwatch in 2027.
The reveal coincides with the fourth anniversary of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, with its second season scheduled to premiere exclusively on Netflix on October 20, 2026.

The partnership also extends to The Witcher. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is available for pre-purchase on Battle.net ahead of its September 29 release, while its upcoming expansion Songs of the Past can already be wishlisted ahead of its 2027 launch.
The BlizzCon panel also unveiled the Geralt-themed Barbarian skin coming to Diablo IV. Battle.net players will be able to claim the skin by pre-purchasing Songs of the Past when available or purchasing the expansion after launch.
The Geralt-inspired cosmetic will be the first piece of The Witcher-themed content coming to Diablo IV, with additional collaboration content planned for 2027.
