Pavilion Kuala Lumpur marks a milestone this year as Tokyo Street celebrates its 15th anniversary through “Journey to Tokyo”, presented together with Animangaki, the vibrant community that brings together fans of anime, comics and gaming.
Having collaborated with many of Japan’s most renowned IPs over the years, Tokyo Street continues its mission to deliver authentic experiences that bring Malaysia and Japan closer, marking the occasion by welcoming one of Japanese pop culture’s most enduring icons: Astro Boy.
Visitors can participate in an Astro Boy Stamp Rally and look forward to meet and greet sessions with Astro Boy at Tokyo Street. They can also immerse themselves in Japanese traditions through complimentary Yukata dress-up sessions at Tokyo Street, offering the perfect opportunity to capture memorable moments in traditional Japanese attire.
The festivities culminated on 29th July with the highly anticipated Tokyo Street 15th Anniversary celebration. To mark the milestone, a special Tokyo Street Anniversary Edition origami workshop was held by the Malaysia Origami Academy.
The first 150 shoppers at Tokyo Street can receive complimentary warabimochi, while the first 50 shoppers who made a purchase at Tokyo Street will also take home an exclusive Japanese Mystery Bag, making it the campaign’s biggest celebration.
