Wuthering Waves: Elysium, a brand-new animated series based on Wuthering Waves, is currently in production from Kuro Onroad, a new animation brand under Kuro Games. The series was first announced at Wuthering Waves’ “To The New World” concert, which kicked off in Shanghai on July 17.
Kuro Onroad is described as a new animation brand dedicated to bringing Kuro Games’ titles to life through animation, with the upcoming animated series aiming to offer fans another way to experience their characters, stories, and world.
Originally released in 2024, Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play, open-world action RPG set in the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3. Players take on the role of an amnesiac protagonist named “Rover”, who teams up with various characters to defeat monsters and recover their lost memories.
