Earth Corporation, one of Japan’s top producers of household insecticides, has launched a browser dating simulator with Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji that will make you look twice at your screen.
Launched in conjunction with “Insect Repellent Day” on June 4th, Gokigen Lovely Days is limited-time dating simulator where you can romance four main characters with “cockroach-like aura”. The game is available on a dedicated website from now until September 3rd.
Popular Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji, best known for voicing Eren Jaeger (Attack On Titan) and Shoto Todoroki (My Hero Academia), steps into the role of all four romanceable leads in Gokigen Lovely Days.
This includes Kuro, a gentle but clumsy princely type; Chaba, the innocent younger brother type; Yamato, the mild-mannered gentlemanly type; and Daimon, the wild big brother type who looks out for everyone. But there’s a buggy twist.
Each of these highly attractive characters reflect the real-world ecology of specific insects, and players must use their knowledge of insect habits and ecology to increase affection levels with their favourite character.
The game is available now for free through mobile and PC browser until September 3rd.
