Q Hayashida’s Dorohedoro manga has announced that the series is getting a 3rd season. For the sequel, director Yuichiro Hayashi revealed a unique commemorative illustration with Haru singing for it.

In January 2020, the first anime season debuted on Netflix in Japan with 12 episodes. At May 2020, Netflix streamed the season outside Japan.
The second season ended with its final episode at May 27th 2026. It was first premiered on April 1 and became available on multiple platforms worldwide almost simultaneously. The production team had originally planned to release the second season in 2025.
Crunchyroll streamed both the seasons, with the first season available globally in several dubbed languages while the Japanese audio version includes subtitles in most regions. Netflix also streams the series, and season two includes an English dub.
Hayashi, known for Kakegurui, directed the first season at MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Mob Psycho 100, Vinland Saga) wrote the series composition, while Tomohiro Kishi (91 Days, Garo -Vanishing Line-) designed the characters. (K)NoW_NAME composed the music and has also worked on Sakura Quest and Fairy gone.
