Rhythm Action-Platformer ‘SURI: The Seventh Note’ Reveals Gameplay Trailer

Indian independent game developer Tathvamasi Studios have revealed the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming PS5 and PC game, SURI: The Seventh Note. The game is a rhythm action-platformer where players are thrown into the role of Ajira, a brave girl racing against time to save her mother from a dark, bewildering sickness.

Her only hope lies in finding a magical fruit that blooms deep within the heart of the island torn apart by a mysterious, corrupting rhythm. A dark force has taken hold, warping its melodies into something sinister. To overcome it, Ajira must learn to master the rhythm, channel its power, and fight back through a world that shifts and reacts to every beat.

SURI: The Seventh Note is a part of Sony’s India Hero Project, an incubator project from Sony that aims to identify and support emerging developers from India. Tathvamasi Studio
had been working with Sony to bring SURI: The Seventh Note to life for over a year, using the PS5 DualSense haptics to not only hear, but see and feel the beat of the in-game rhythms.

“We grew up playing on PlayStation consoles and they have a special place in our hearts,” says Glen Martin, Tathvamasi Studios CEO and Game Director of SURI: The Seventh Note. “We’re excited to bring our own game to consoles that were integral to our childhood.”
