Singaporean publisher Soft Source and Indian developer Mad Mantra Games will bring their acclaimed horror title Kamla to the Nintendo switch this 30 October, with PlayStation 5 versions coming later.
Kamla is a first-person stealth horror game rooted in Indian culture and folklore. Set in 1980s India, you follow the story of Kamla, a woman currently tormented by a demon. A year after her marriage into a wealthy family, she begins losing her sanity. You play as a priest, sent in to help Kamla and perform an exorcism ritual.
You arrive to find her home in a disarray, furniture destroyed, items strewn, and the air heavy with dread and horror lurking, forcing you to collect items around the house to complete the ritual. Solve puzzles, clear obstacles, collect the items, and evade a possessed Kamla as she tries to stop you.
