Spider-Man will swing into Magic: The Gathering this September 26, bringing Spider-Heroes from across the multiverse into players’ hands! If you’re not sure where to start with collecting these spectacular new cards, keep reading for our easy breakdown:
Soul Stone
The Spider-Man set will officially introduce the Infinity Stones to Magic: The Gathering. Kicking things off with the Soul Stone, fans will be able to collect three main versions of this card through the set:
- The main set version features stunning artwork from Volkan Baga, and is available in non-foil and traditional foil in both Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.
- The borderless Gauntlet version features Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet, made available only in Collector Boosters.
- The ultra-rare borderless version appears in cosmic foil without rules text, and is available only in Collector Boosters in extremely low quantities.
Borderless Classic Comics
The Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man collection will feature 3 mythic rare classic comic cards, with each piece featuring famous pieces of Spider-Man-themed art, based on legendary creatures from the set. These cards will only be made available in traditional foil, and can only be found through Collector Boosters.
Borderless Costume Change Cards
Spider-Man’s many costumes will make an appearance through borderless costume change cards, available in seven different costume change variants, plus an eighth version that appears as part of the main set.
The main set version of Spectacular Spider-Man appears in non-foil and traditional foil, with borderless art in both Play Boosters and Collector Boosters; while his costume changes are only available in textured foil, exclusively sold through Collector Boosters.
Borderless Scene Cards
Fan-favorite cards from Magic’s history will be reimagined using artwork from Marvel’s comics. These cards appear in non-foil in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters, while traditional foil versions of these cards only appear in Collector Boosters.
