‘SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure’ Comes To The Nintendo Switch This October

Singaporean indie studio kopiforge’s co-op cooking RPG SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure will be released on the Nintendo Switch this October 23, with both physical and digital formats available across Asia. Players will soon be able to place pre-orders for physical copies through retailers nationwide.

SEDAP! is a cooking-combat adventure game that sends players on a whirlwind Southeast Asian culinary adventure. Venture through the Southeast Asian-inspired Khaya Island, and hone your cooking skills by learning a wide range of regional dishes, while also unearthing the mysteries of the island. Players can take on the challenge alone, or play the game co-op with a friend.

The Nintendo Switch version will include four bonus recipes, adding original dishes from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong to the game’s Southeast Asian menu. Physical copies will also come with exclusive bonuses, such as an original recipe book that allows you to recreate 10 selected dishes from the game, and a soundtrack download code.

Developers kopiforge shared: “The word “sedap!” is a popular exclamation in Southeast Asia, meaning “delicious!” in the Malay language. We created this game because we wanted to introduce the vibrant cultures and cuisines of Southeast Asia through a fun co-op adventure game. We hope that you will enjoy the joy and chaos of SEDAP!, and maybe get hungry along the way!”
