Toei Animation and Toydium have officially released NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain. Having been in Early Access since January 2025, the co-op horror title is now free to haunt players’ desktops everywhere via Steam.
The game will come with a release update that includes a new monster, the “Yuki Onna”, a new stage called “The Mine” and an additional DLC. To commemorate the occasion, players can also enjoy a special 33% release sale from now until May 14.
Yuki Onna
The “Yuki Onna” or snow woman moves quickly and glides with barely a sound. Make sure you listen carefully or she’ll appear when you least expect it!
When Yuki Onna finds you, she spits out a blizzard which causes the player to be frozen in ice. Be sure to watch the floors too, as if they’re frozen by Yuki Onna, you risk slipping around and being caught more easily.
The Mine
The Mine was once a highly valued silver ore mine, filled with vast tunnels that required hundreds of workers to dig through. These workers were forced to work everyday without getting enough sleep,and as a result, many lost their lives due to accidents caused by human error.
The site has now been revered as a mine where “once you enter, you never leave”.
DLCs
NOROI KAGO’s very first DLCs include two guest characters and the game’s soundtrack. Players can dress up as Kitaro’s Father and Mizuki from the recent film “Birth of Kitarō: The Mystery of GeGeGe”, which also come with additional character-specific perks for fans to enjoy.
The game’s original soundtrack will also be available for purchase, allowing players to immerse themselves in its spine-chilling background muusic whenever they wish.
