Bluepoch Games has kicked off Version 2.5 of its popular time-travel RPG Reverse: 1999. Phase one of Version 2.5, “Showdown in Chinatown”, features a new limited 6-star character, Liang Yue, a new 5-star character Loggerhead, and two new game modes, Critter Crash and When the Alarm Sounds.
Players can unlock up to 40 free summons, a free garment for Windsong, and various in-game rewards through login events and mini-games.
More highlights include:
- New Story Event: Follow Liang Yue as she investigates a crime spree in Los Angeles during the Shehuo Parade.
- Fan Events: A $20,000 fan art contest and the in-person Showdown in Hollywood festival on May 3 at NeueHouse, Hollywood.
- Reruns & Banners: Return of limited banners, including the popular Jiu Niangzi banner (May 3–17) and a new banner featuring Director Noire (May 8–29).
- New Garments: Unlockable cosmetics for Jiu Niangzi, Tuesday, Sotheby, The Fool, and Windsong.
