A new trailer has been released for Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved, an upcoming movie based on the anime and manga series Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid.
The trailer not only shows off scenes of the beloved characters, but also premieres the film’s opening theme song, “Namida no Parade” (or “Parade of Tears) by J-pop group fhána. Check out the new trailer below:
The film will be produced by Kyoto Animation, with Tatsuya Ishihara serving as director, Yuka Yamada as scriptwriter, and Miku Kadowaki as character designer and chief animation director. The anime’s original voice actors will largely reprise their roles for the film, including Maria Naganawa as Kanna, Mutsumi Tamura as Miss Kobayashi, and Yuuki Kuwahara as Tohru.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved will release in Japanese cinemas this June 27th. International release dates have yet to be announced.
