TGV Cinemas will be screening Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye, a theatrical premiere for the upcoming Season 2 of Dan Da Dan, starting this May 30. The screenings are being held in collaboration with Mainichi Broadcasting System, Science Saru, and Muse.
Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye will adapt the manga’s Evil Eye arc, which began in the last episode of the anime’s first season. The theatrical release will include said episode from Season 1, along with the first three episodes of Season 2, as well as an exclusive interview with series directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.
The plot will center around series protagonists Momo and Okarun as they travel to to a hot springs town home rented by Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and former crush, with the goal of solving the mystery surrounding his family. Mutsumi Tamura (Kobayashi from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) will voice a mysterious new yokai named Evil Eye.
