Fatshark Announces Free Nightmares & Visions Update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Fatshark has officially announced its upcoming free update for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, titled Nightmares & Visions, set to launch on March 25th across all platforms — PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

The update will introduce a brand-new game activity, improvements to the end-game Havoc mode, a time-limited special event, balance updates, and more.

What’s Coming in Nightmares & Visions?

New Game Activity: Mortis Trials

Players will fight through waves of enemies in visions conjured by the ship’s Psyker. Each venture into the Sefoni’s visions will allow players to experiment with randomized abilities and buffs, creating fresh and unique playstyles. Successfully completing the Mortis Trials will also unveil hidden details about certain characters aboard the Mourningstar.

Havoc Mode Enhancements

The high-intensity end-game mode receives significant improvements, introducing four new mutators to challenge even the most seasoned operatives.

Time-Limited Special Event

Following the Nightmares & Visions update, Darktide will host a special event focused on Mortis Trials, encouraging players to explore the new content.

Ogryn Class Overhaul & Balancing Updates

The Ogryn class will receive a revamped talent tree, offering more diverse build opportunities. Additionally, various balance changes and general improvements will be introduced to refine the overall gameplay experience.
