Dear Warriors of Light, it’s that time of the year of again in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) where we “Hear, Feel, Think” to that someone special in our hearts. Of course this time, I’m not referring to mother Hydaelin alone but instead, our beloved partners or friends as Valentione’s Day comes rolling around this year.
For returning and long-time players, Valentione’s Day is the day we spend time showing our love and affection for this wonderful game, who brought us together with new friends, family or lovers as well as show our appreciation for all the amazing and cherished moments spent with one another throughout our adventures.
As for the new players, a very warm welcome to your first Valentione’s Day and may your future adventures, travels and quests help you find an abundance of love, friendship and or happiness, be it from NPCs or other players!! For your information and in brief, on this day, we honour Countess Arabelle de Valentione’s sacrifice of her noble Ishgardian life in search of true love!
As per tradition in FFXIV, the Valentione’s Day festivities will be Eorzea-wide, with every city state being decorated with hearts and flowers all around. However, if you intend to do the annual Valentione’s Day quest, you can always find it in Old Gridania at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. Take note that you’ll have to be a minimum of level 15 to be able to do it but you’ll get there in no time!
This year’s Valentione’s Day celebrations will take place from February 3 to February 17, 2025 (6:59, PST) which features a new emote and décor for your apartment or house as the quest reward, so quickly go and get them before time’s up.
