CAPCOM has revealed their full product line-up for Gamescom Asia 2024, one of the largest video game festivals in the region, happening at Suntec Singapore this 17-20 October. Fans and industry professionals alike will be able to look forward to their booth in the entertainment area to check out the publisher’s most anticipated titles.
The entertainment area will be open to public on 19-20 October, but SuperFan ticket holders, business area badge holders, content creators, and media will get early access to the entertainment area on 18 October.
Here’s a complete rundown of every game at the CAPCOM booth at Gamescom Asia!
1. Monster Hunter Wilds
The first time it has been made playable to the public in Southeast Asia, the CAPCOM show floor will feature playable demo stations for Monster Hunter Wilds at the booth. Monster Hunter Wilds will release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
2. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
Visitors of the CAPCOM booth can also dive back into the mayhem with the enhanced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster at the demo stations. Everyone’s favorite zombie-hunting photojournalist, Frank West, is back in action with the beautifully remastered Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, launching digitally on 19th September 2024 with the physical version available later on 8th November 2024.
Remastered with CAPCOM’s RE ENGINE, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is the definitive remaster of the 2006 classic Dead Rising, which delivered a fresh take on the zombie genre with incredible action, over-the-top combat, tons of weapon choices, wacky costumes (trust us, they’re even wackier this time around), and a comedic yet compelling storyline.
3. MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics
Wacky actions aside, join fans from around the world in celebrating the legacy of some of the most beloved fighting games with hands-on at MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. This jam-packed collection which will release on 12th September 2024 digitally and includes seven timeless games born from collaboration between Marvel and CAPCOM in an all-inone package, including:
- X-MEN CHILDREN OF THE ATOM
- MARVEL SUPER HEROES
- MARVEL vs. CAPCOM CLASH OF SUPER HEROES
- MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 New Age of Heroes
- MARVEL SUPER HEROES vs. STREET FIGHTER
- X-MEN vs. STREET FIGHTER
- THE PUNISHER
4. Street Fighter 6’s First Guest Character, Terry Bogard
Visitors of the CAPCOM booth will also be able to get hands-on with the most recent addition, and first-ever guest character in Street Fighter 6, Terry Bogard, from SNK’s Fatal Fury series. Fans can get to grips with Terry and try out his moves. Terry Bogard, the Legendary Hungry Wolf, can be purchased individually with Fighter Coins or unlocked for players who own or purchase the Year 2 Character Pass or Year 2 Ultimate Pass.
5. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Rounding off the line-up is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Visitors can experience the thrills of its unique Kagura Action Strategy. As the protagonist Soh, it is the player’s duty to rescue villagers and restore peace along with the Maiden of the mountain, Yoshiro, by purging the defilement that infects their land on Mt. Kafuku.
6. CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE
Lastly, not to forget the highly anticipated CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE which has been announced and will be taking place at CAPCOM’s show floor. Witness Street Fighter 6 players from around the world gather to compete for chances to qualify for CAPCOM CUP 11 in Japan.
