CAPCOM Brings Monster Hunter Wilds & Street Fighter 6 To The Gamescom Asia Stage

CAPCOM will be inviting Monster Hunter Wilds producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, alongside Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama and producer Shuhei Matsumoto to the gamescom asia 2024 stage this October.

Both sessions will be happening on the afternoon of Saturday, 19th October during the CAPCOM showcase where they will engage with both long-time and new fans of Monster Hunter and Street Fighter on stage.

The series producer for the Monster Hunter series, Ryozo Tsujimoto has served as the series producer since 2007 with the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 2. He is motivated by the notion that “anyone can join and play” and continues to develop games with this philosophy in mind.

Fans can look forward to an exclusive 1-on-1 autograph and photo session with Ryozo Tsujimoto, along with a priority ticket that allows them to skip the standby lines and dive straight into the hands-on demo for Monster Hunter Wilds.

Meanwhile, director Takayuki Nakayama joined CAPCOM in 2001 as a background section designer. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of numerous home console game titles. In the Street Fighter series, he worked on Ultra Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V. He serves as the director for Street Fighter 6.

Producer Shuhei Matsumoto joined CAPCOM in 2012, transitioning from the human resources department to become a producer, starting with Season 3 of Street Fighter V. He also served as the producer for Street Fighter 6 and the Capcom Fighting Collection series.

Joining the line-up of CAPCOM’s game directors and producers at the event are two special cosplayer guests. Charess will be cosplaying Alma, the skilled Handler from Monster Hunter Wilds, while Vera Chimera will be cosplaying as Gemma, the skilled smithy with the Research Commission.

As the excitement builds for gamescom asia, stay tuned for more detailed updates and exclusive content from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
