The biggest on-site event for HoYoverse fans is back! Every year, HoYo FEST gathers fans of the HoYoverse for a series of pop-up events around the world, where fans can participate in exclusive events and get their hands on limited-time merchandise.
With the HoYoverse bigger than ever, here’s a master guide for Malaysian fans to collect all the merchandise and goodies from Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Tears of Themis, and Honkai Impact 3.

General Tips & Tricks
Collect your Merchandise Queue Ticket by 9AM! Head to the Piazza Entrance to collect your merchandise queue ticket from 9AM to 9:55AM. Queue tickets will still be distributed after 10AM at the Information Counter, but stocks may run out fast!
Be on standby 15 minutes before your assigned queue slot! Head to the Merchandise Booth queue entrance during your assigned time slot and present your queue ticket to the staff to join the queue. If you arrive earlier than that, you may be asked to relocate due to safety concerns.
Prepare cash or DuitNow to make payments! Payment is only accepted via cash or DuitNow, so make sure you prepare one of the two options before it’s your turn to buy.
Come with friends to bypass purchase restrictions! Each person can only buy up to 2 pieces of the same merchandise, and a total of 30 items in a single order. That means if you’re looking to buy more merchandise, come with your friends or family!
How To Collect All The FREE Merchandise
We’re not all made of money, so let’s start with the freebies before going into the paid merchandise. This does require a little more effort though, so let’s jump right into it!
HoYo FEST 2024 Freebies
To collect the exclusive HoYo FEST polaroid, start by collecting your Stamp Collection Card at the Information Counter, then follow these instructions:
- Go to each game title’s booth and complete at least one (1) mini-event to collect the stamp.
- Take photos at the event and post them on any social media platform using the hashtags #HoYoFEST and #HoYoFEST2024.
- Head to the HoYo FEST photo booth and the staff will check if you have completed Steps 1 and 2. After the staff confirms your eligibility, you can take a photo at the photo booth and get your exclusive polaroid!
Genshin Impact Freebies
For Genshin Impact fans, there are four events you can join to obtain four sets of freebies! To save yourself some time, here’s what you can prepare in advance:
- Event 1: Prepare your Genshin Impact UID
- Event 2: Get ready to take a photo at the event and post it online with the hashtags #GenshinImpact, #HoYoFEST, and #HereIAm
- Event 3: Show that you’ve reached Adventure Rank 60, show that your Exploration Progress has reached 100% for any map area, or cosplay as any Genshin Impact character
- Event 4: Brush up on your Genshin Impact trivia to answer questions on the spot!
Once you’ve completed any of the tasks, head to the Genshin Impact booth to verify your participation with a staff member and collect your freebies.
For those who can’t make it to the on-site event, Genshin Impact is also giving away in-game rewards such as Mora and Primogems for joining these three online events:
- Event 1 (July 18 – August 30): Click “Share To Win Prizes” on the HoYo FEST website and follow the instructions there
- Event 2 (July 18 – 23): Share the post of HoYo FEST’s web page being online on Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts or HoYoLAB
- Event 3 (August 8 – 13): Invite another Genshin Impact player to take a photo in-game and upload it in the comments section of Genshin Impact’s official social media posts
Honkai: Star Rail Freebies
For Honkai: Star Rail fans, there are four activities to join and collect exclusive freebies:
- Event 1: Present your HSR in-game account to the staff
- Event 2: Show that you’re follow any official HSR social media accounts, and repost the HoYo FEST 2024 promotional post
- Event 3: Take photos at the event venue and post them online with the designated hashtags (check with the staff on-site!)
- Event 4: Spell the characters’ name correctly at the booth!
For fans who can’t make it to the onground event, you can still get a redemption code from the HoYo FEST web page but there aren’t any other online activities to join.
Zenless Zone Zero Freebies
For Zenless Zone Zero fans, there won’t be any merchandise on sale so this is your only chance to earn some exclusive merch!
- Event 1: Take a photo with the ZZZ booth and post it online with the hashtags #ZZZero and #HoYoFEST
- Event 2: Play the ZZZ demo at the booth
- Event 3: Take a photo with the ZZZ booth while cosplaying a ZZZ character and post it online with the hashtags #ZZZero and #HoYoFEST
Tears of Themis Freebies
For Tears of Themis fans, there’s only one chance to get a limited-edition gift for free! Other than that, there will be exclusive merchandise on sale.
- Take a picture at the ToT booth and post it online with the hashtags #TearsofThemis and #HoYoFEST
Honkai Impact 3 Freebies
For Honkai Impact 3 fans, certain freebies can be obtained during on-stage events, while others can be obtained at the booth directly. Here’s how:
- Stage Competitions: Visit the HoYo FEST web page for the stage schedule
- Music Concert Rerun (August 18, 11AM): Fans who show their bridge screen at the venue will receive a free postcard
- Booth Activity 1: Repost the official social media event post and comment the year you started playing Honkai Impact 3
- Booth Activity 2: Take photos at the event venue and post it online with the #HoYoFESTHI3 and #HonkaiImpact3
- Booth Activity 3: Cosplay as any Honkai Impact 3 character, take a picture at the event, and post it online with the hashtags #HoYoFESTHI3 and #HonkaiImpact3
For those who can’t make it on-site, Honkai Impact 3 is also giving away in-game goodies and an Elysia Miss Pink Figurine if you join the following activities:
- Event 1 (July 18 – August 30): Click “Share To Win Prizes” on the HoYo FEST website and follow the instructions there
- Event 2: Share Honkai Impact 3 posts on their official social media or HoYoLAB’s HoYo FEST webpage
- Event 3: Comment the image of your participation in HoYo FEST under HoYoLAB posts
