Re:Zero Witch’s Re:surrection, the 3D role-playing mobile game inspired by the popular eponymous franchise, is officially launching in Summer 2024.
The news was announced on the game’s official Twitter account, together with the opening of pre-registrations for fans. The new trailer also revealed the game’s theme song, “Resurrection” performed by Konomi Suzuki.
Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a light novel series that follows the story of Subaru Natsuki, a NEET who is suddenly summoned into a fantasy-like world where he is instantly killed while trying to help a young half-elf, Emilia, who is a candidate to become the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica. After dying a few times, Subaru realises that he has the power to turn back time after his death.
Since it was originally published in 2012, Re:Zero has been adapted into a highly popular manga and television anime series, as well as several video games including a visual novel titled Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World: Death or Kiss, a role-playing browser game titled Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- Forbidden Book, and a tactical adventure game titled Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne.
