The Games Exchange is a mini indie games showcase hosted by OutCrowd and Noble Steed. Created with the goal of sharing games outside of their respective countries, the inaugural event will showcase five Australian made games in Malaysia, and five Malaysian made games in Australia.
Representing the Malaysian half of the exchange, OutCrowd is a community hangout for underrepresented folks in the games industry. The organisation aims to provide a safe space for under-represented folks in games.
On the Australian side of things, Noble Steed Games is a game development consultancy and studio based in Sydney. Some of their previous projects include Moving Out 2 with SMG Studios, Every Hue of You with Cactus Jam Games, and A Tale of Paper with Digerati.
The Games Exchange: Selangor Edition is happening at WORQ Subang Co-Working Space this May 3rd, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM (GMT+8). The event is open for pre-registration only while slots are available.
