Leading VTuber agency Hololive recently announced the Hololive Official Card Game, a trading card game slated for release in September of 2024. Check out the official teaser trailer below:
The Hololive Official Card Game will be based around the concepts of “co-creation” and “competition”. The game will feature a mix of both old and new illustrations, allowing fans to experience their favourite moments from Hololive Production’s VTubers in trading card form. It promises to deliver a whole new range of content that both Hololive fans and general TCG fans can enjoy.
Entertainment company Bushiroad will also be supporting the release of the Hololive Official Card Game by distributing the game through various online and offline channels in Japan, including Hololive’s own official merch store. Events such as workshops and tournaments are also in the works.
This is the latest instalment in a long-standing partnership between Hololive and Bushiroad. Hololive VTubers have appeared in collaborations with Bushiroad’s card game Weiß Schwarz, as well as various TCG-related products such as deskmats and card sleeves distributed by the company.
While there’s no news for a global release just yet, we’ve definitely got our fingers crossed for more updates!
