The Southeast Asian gaming ecosystem has experienced incredible growth in past years, with a number of games reaching regional-level and international-level renown. Most recently, Indonesian made A Space For The Unbound was even nominated at The Game Awards 2023!
In celebration of the region’s rapid growth, Southeast Asia Game Aesthetic is hosting Southeast Asia Games Onward or SEA GO, a Steam event and video games showcase featuring games from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Thailand, and Myanmar.
The event is hosted in collaboration with Virtual SEA, Indonesian Game Association, PlayPrime Show, VietnamGameDev, Indie Games Group Philippines, Brunei Game Dev, Thai Games Association, and Xbox.

inspired us to bring the game developers together and encourage industry expansion,” said
Zahid, spokesperson for Southeast Asia Game Aesthetic, also known as SEAGamethetic.
From now until 2 February 2024, the SEA GO Steam event will feature over 130+ Southeast Asian titles with discounts, demos and information on upcoming titles.
For even more excitement, the SEAGamethetic YouTube channel will be hosting a video event and showcase on 28 December 2023 featuring upcoming and newly released titles from across the region. Some of the featured games include The Chef’s Shift from Indonesia, Cuisineer from Singapore, Nullspace from Malaysia, MASS Builder from Thailand, and many more!
The video will be presented by content creators from the featured countries and a closing statement from Jun Shen Chia, the Xbox Global Expansion lead for Southeast Asia.
