Gear Up for Jom Cosplay! @ Sungei Wang Plaza

Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further than Jom Cosplay, an anime, cosplay and gaming event taking place at Jumpa @ Sungei Wang Plaza on the 26th and 27th of February! Organised by AniManGaki, the event will feature a wide variety of attractions that are bound to appeal to any otaku out there.

Here’s just some of the activities you can look forward to at Jom Cosplay:

Event Attractions

Cosplay Competition: Stand a chance to win your share of a RM2,000 prize pool by cosplaying as your favourite character and striking three different poses on stage! Click here to learn more.

Jom Dance Competition: Put on your dancing shoes and strut your stuff on stage in a group of 2-5 performers. Impress the judges, and you might just win up to RM1,000 worth of cash and goodies. Click here to learn more.

Fighting Game Tournaments: Think you’re the very best at Blazblue Central Fiction, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate or Super Smash Bros Ultimate? Go head to head with your fellow gamers at any of these tournaments, organised by Infinite Carnage. Click here to learn more.

Honkai Impact 3 Showcase: Visit Honkai Impact 3’s booth (#32) for a chance to grab some awesome freebies and to meet some of the community’s best cosplayers.

Carnival Games: Test your luck and win anime figurines through games such as Lucky Wheel, Bottle Flip, and Move the Marbles.

Event Safety Regulations

If you’re planning to attend Jom Cosplay this weekend, we strongly encourage you to adhere to the event’s COVID-19 regulations. Aside from being fully vaccinated, you’ll also need to wear a face mask at all times, keep a 1 meter distance from other people, and sanitize your hands whenever possible.

Additionally, participants in the Cosplay and Jom Dance competitions will be required to take an RTK test one day before the competition.
