With the release of FINAL FANTASY XV EPISODE ARYDN approaching, a new trailer was released for the promised animated prologue.
The animation will focus on Ardyn’s past when his heart was still pure with only the people’s well-being in his mind, up till his descent into the Ardyn we know of today filled with vengeance to both the throne and the Astrals. The animation will show the events leading up to the events of the game itself.
The animation is scheduled to be released in mid-February with no set date yet. Here is the new trailer with English subtitles:
