Last week, Brie Larson posted a photo on her Instagram revealing July 6 as the last day of shooting for ‘Captain Marvel’, the penultimate installment of Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Three. In true Marvel fashion, the Instagram post doesn’t reveal more than what we already know. However, it is interesting to study the clapperboard, which seems to be decorated in signatures from the cast and crew.
Since Marvel won’t be making an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, this may be the only ‘Captain Marvel’ news we’ll have to chew on for a long time coming. That, alongside the characters’ cameo in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, will just have to tide us over until more information is released.
The movie is currently set for a 8 March 2019 release date. The story will be set in the ’90s following Carol Danvers (acted by Brie Larson), an Air Force pilot who becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when her DNA was fused with that of an alien during an accident.
Besides Brie Larson, the film also stars Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Lee Pace, Gemma Chan, and Djimon Hounsou.
