We would be watching most if not all the conferences, but here’s what we expect from the conferences:
Sony
With the PS4 Pro just introduced 2 years ago, we shouldn’t be hearing anything too major in terms of major hardware. We are likely to see new trailers, gameplay footage, development updates of the main exclusives and announcements from third party publishers and indie developers.
Games to look out for: Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man and the Last of Us Part 2.
Nintendo
With Super Smash Bros teased for a Switch released 2 months back, we can safely assume that it will be the showcase for Nintendo’s conference. Especially since the teaser trailer suggested a 2018 release window for the much awaited exclusive title. Metroid Prime 4 was announced to be in development on the Nintendo switch in last year’s E3 conference. Be sure to sit tight for this conference, as we expect another conference that will pack a punch.
Games to look out for: Super Smash Bros, New Pokémon game and Metroid Prime 4.
EA
Be sure to see annual sports titles (Madden 19, FIFA 19, NBA Live 19). Look out for a new battlefield game, of which nothing is known of what the game will involve. We might also get more details on Anthem, a new game from Bioware.
Games to look out for: Anthem, Annual Titles, Battlefield
Square Enix
They are back on stage to E3 this year with an absence last year. We hope to have more development news on Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which is now 3 years since its official announcement in 2015. For the love of god, Kingdom Hearts 3, please give us a release date this time. Be sure to hear more on the new Tomb Raider sequel, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I need my fair share of treasure hunting and tomb raiding.
Games to look out for: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Shadow of The Tomb Raider.
At TMR, we are very excited for more news on games like Ace Combat 7, Death Stranding, Kingdom Hearts 3, Call of Duty Black Ops 4. We must not forget to mention that CD Projekt Red, the developer behind the Witcher series, is developing a new RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s to hoping we get more details on the title.
Let us know what games you are excited for at the comments below.
