Crystal of Atlan launched a new collaboration with Ghost in the Shell: STAND ALONE COMPLEX on October 28, 2026. The collaboration releases alongside a new update, which introduces a new Lv.80 level cap, an additional Adventure Chapter, new equipment and the return of the Halloween event Doradoween.
Section 9 Arrives in Atlan
The collaboration brings characters and technology from the 2002 anime into the world of Crystal of Atlan. Public Security Section 9 has detected an unidentified signal in Atlan, leading to the appearance of a special combat zone inspired by the unit’s tactical operations.
Players can participate in the four-player collaboration dungeon, Simulated Warzone, where each participant pilots a Tachikoma. Players battle enemies and other participants to collect Ultra Cogs, which can be used to upgrade their Tachikoma. Defeated players drop some of their collected Cogs, while final rankings determine rewards including Prime Prosthetics and Neurochips.
Other collaboration activities include Memory Dive, where players spend SP to obtain Cyber Cores and unlock clues to earn stage rewards, and the Tactical Protocol progression system, which uses Neurochips to unlock additional collaboration rewards.
Limited-time collaboration items include Motoko Kusanagi as a pet and the Tachikoma as a mount, featuring five available paint options.
Lv.80 Update Introduces New Adventure Chapter
Outside of the collaboration, the update raises the level cap to 80 and adds the new Adventure Chapter, Hymn of Redemption, alongside the Lv.80 map Frozen Sanctuary and new equipment. Players who have reached Lv.70 can complete the Level Breakthrough quest to increase their level cap and access the new content and rewards.
The Halloween event Doradoween runs from October 28 to November 18, 2026. Players can complete the Journey Memories puzzle, challenge the boss Lord Fat Ken for Halloween-themed headwear and search for a mysterious pumpkin to unlock hidden achievements.
Collecting Midnight Fudge also allows players to exchange for event rewards. By progressing through the Wonderland Main Quest and completing event quests, players can obtain the limited-time headwear Pumpkin Fiend.
