Com2uS has officially revealed the title of its upcoming console and PC game based on the Gachiakuta anime, GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT, alongside the game’s first gameplay trailer at the TGS 2026 Xbox Showcase.
Previously known under the working title GACHIAKUTA: The Game, the upcoming survival action RPG combines the anime’s distinctive art style with cartoon-inspired visuals and dynamic combat featuring its central cast.
First Look at Combat
The debut gameplay footage showcases Rudo, Enjin, Zanka and Riyo, with each character demonstrating their own weapons and combat styles, as well as a boss encounter against Jabber, with players taking direct control of Zanka. The battle highlights Jabber’s relentless attacks and a combat system that requires players to react quickly, evade incoming attacks and exploit openings.
The trailer also reflects the meaning behind the game’s new subtitle, “BREAKOUT,” portraying the characters pushing beyond their limits while fighting through dangerous situations.

Alongside the gameplay reveal, Com2uS has launched the official GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT brand website. The site features the game’s official logo, debut gameplay trailer and additional information.
GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT is currently in development and is scheduled for a global release in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Steam.
