Y/CJ/Y’s road-trip RPG Keep Driving is expanding beyond PC, with the nostalgic open-road adventure launching on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 28, 2026.

The console release will arrive alongside an update for the PC version introducing official mod support through Steam Workshop. The console editions will also include previously released updates, including expanded localization support and additional content.

Originally released in 2025, Keep Driving has now sold more than 300,000 copies.

Life on the Open Road

Keep Driving combines road-trip adventure with RPG and management mechanics, following a young driver travelling across the country.

Players can:

  • Pick up hitchhikers and meet different characters along the way
  • Take on odd jobs to earn money
  • Customize and repair their car
  • Plan routes across the country
  • Use upgrades, skills and items to overcome road challenges
  • Discover different events and situations during their journey

The game’s road-trip systems are built around managing resources and making decisions while travelling, with players encouraged to take their time and enjoy the journey.

A release date trailer has also been released ahead of the September 28 launch, highlighting the upcoming console versions and PC mod support.
