The final Tokyo performance of Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai 2026” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on February 3, 2027, giving fans a chance to revisit the full evening concert held at Makuhari Messe on August 30.
Now in its 14th year, Magical Mirai combines 3DCG live performances by Hatsune Miku and other virtual singers with an exhibition celebrating creativity and fan culture. This year’s event was held across Hamamatsu, Osaka and Tokyo under the theme “Sonare of the Lake.”
The 2026 edition marked the event’s first visit to Hamamatsu, taking place at Act City Hamamatsu from July 24–26, followed by INTEX Osaka from August 14–16 and Makuhari Messe from August 28–30.
Limited Edition Includes Bonus Footage
Both the standard and limited editions include the complete recording of the Tokyo final evening performance.
The limited edition adds a deluxe case with a translucent finish inspired by the “Sonare of the Lake” theme, a special book and a bonus disc featuring additional live footage and behind-the-scenes content.
The bonus disc includes:
- Making-of Footage
- Exhibition Digest
- Magical Mirai 2026 Daily Songs, featuring performances of seven songs that were not included in the Tokyo final evening show.
- Focus on Singers Live Footage, highlighting performances by Hatsune Miku and the other virtual singers.
The “Daily Songs” and “Focus on Singers” sections support 5.1-channel audio and Japanese subtitles.

Hatsune Miku “Magical Mirai 2026” will be available in four configurations:
- Limited Edition Blu-ray: ¥10,450 — VTZL-274
- Standard Blu-ray: ¥6,930 — VTXL-60
- Limited Edition DVD: ¥9,350 — VTZL-275
Both Blu-ray and DVD editions are region-free. The package artwork features the event’s main visual by Wata, while the theme song is “Sora ni Menjite” by Tota Kasamura feat. Hatsune Miku. The release is produced by TOKYO MX and Crypton Future Media and distributed by FlyingDog.
Meanwhile, the event has also added Hiroshima to the lineup of 2027 shows, expanding the destinations for next year’s Magical Mirai celebrations.
