Duo Quest Launches September 16 With 20% Discount and Tokyo Game Show Appearance

Kuala Lumpur-based indie studio 1+1 Studios has announced that its relationship-focused co-op deckbuilder, Duo Quest, will officially launch on September 16, 2026, following two years of development.

The game will launch with both local and online co-op, alongside a 20% Steam launch discount available globally for one month.

Build Decks and Strengthen Your Bond

Designed specifically for two players, Duo Quest combines cooperative deck-building with relationship-based mechanics. Players can build complementary decks, coordinate attacks and answer questions about their relationship through the game’s Bondbreaker mode.

The full release will include:

  • Local and Online Co-op: Play together either on the same system or remotely.
  • 10 Languages: English, Thai, Malay, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.
  • Cooperative Deck-Building: Build complementary decks and coordinate combo attacks.
  • Bondbreaker Mode: Mix relationship questions with deck-building strategy.
  • Procedurally Generated Levels: Choose different paths, replay runs and uncover secrets.
  • Five Classes: Unlock and experiment with different character classes.
  • Artifacts: Discover powerful items throughout each run.
  • 1,000+ Questions: More than 1,000 questions spanning over 20 themes, ranging from lighthearted topics to deeper conversations.

20% Launch Discount

The game will receive a 20% discount on Steam for one month starting September 16, with regional pricing available across different markets.
