TableCon Quest 2026 returned to Singapore on 1 and 2 August at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, bringing together tabletop gamers, board game creators, roleplayers, hobbyists and artists for a weekend celebrating the many sides of tabletop gaming.
This year’s edition was held alongside the Bushiroad Card Game Festival, which was officially part of TableCon Quest, and occupied a significant portion of the venue. The festival attracted a vibrant crowd, with tournaments running throughout the weekend for games including Cardfight!! Vanguard, Shadowverse: Evolve, Weiß Schwarz, Palworld and Hololive Official Card Game.
Beyond the tournaments, Bushiroad also hosted demo sessions, stage programmes, promotional activities and appearances from Japanese voice actors, adding a strong competitive and fan-focused atmosphere to the event.

While the Bushiroad festival was a key attraction at the event, TableCon Quest itself offered a varied and relaxed tabletop experience. Throughout the venue, visitors could take part in both free and paid activities, ranging from TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, to miniature painting, Gundam building and other tabletop hobbies.
The TTRPG sessions were particularly diverse, with a variety of experiences catering to all kinds of players. Fantasy adventures sat alongside robotics, Gundam-inspired and Warhammer-themed sessions, making it easy for visitors to find something that matched their interests. The activity tables consistently had people playing and participating, rather than simply walking around the convention floor.
Another highlight was a dedicated area for independent board game creators. Around 20 to 30 creators and teams were gathered to showcase their games, allowing visitors to sit down, learn the rules and play directly with the designers. For anyone interested in game development, this offered a particularly interesting look at how tabletop creators develop and present their ideas.

The Artist Alley also featured several creators with fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons and roleplaying themes. Visitors could find everything from dice and tabletop accessories to D&D-inspired clothing, adding another layer to the wider tabletop culture surrounding the event.
The wider atmosphere around Suntec also added an unexpected crossover between communities. With HoYoFest taking place nearby, HoYoverse cosplayers could occasionally be spotted wandering around TableCon and even sitting down to play some of the games.

Ultimately, TableCon Quest 2026 showed that tabletop gaming is much more than just board games or card games. From competitive TCGs and D&D to independent game design, miniature painting, Gundam building and roleplaying, the event brought together a wide range of communities under one roof.
