The 2nd East Asia Indie Games Celebration (EAIGC) will take place on Steam from August 5 to August 19, 2026. Organized by HaNWA Games, No. Nine Studio, FilterGame, FromDawn Games, and DA2 Creative, EAIGC is a collaborative event created by independent game developers in Taiwan to celebrate indie games from across East Asia.
This year’s event is the biggest EAIGC yet, featuring 550 indie games from across the region. Players can enjoy Steam discounts, try over 100 Demos and Steam Playtests, watch more than 40 content creators livestream featured games, and join Steam game key giveaways hosted by participating creators.
A Growing Celebration of East Asian Indie Games
EAIGC is a Steam event that connects indie developers across East Asia and introduces their games to players around the world. Through Steam, the official website, multilingual promotion, and creator collaborations, the event helps outstanding indie games reach a wider audience.
The first EAIGC featured 422 games from 12 East Asian regions and generated more than 3.15 million unique Steam impressions. This year, the event continues to grow with 550 featured indie games from across East Asia, with over 100 games offering playable demos or Steam playtests, giving players the chance to experience many upcoming titles before launch.

50+ Creators Streaming Live Throughout the Event
More than 50 streamers, VTubers, and gaming creators from across East Asia will showcase nearly 100 featured games during EAIGC. Players can watch these broadcasts on each creator’s own channel or directly on the official EAIGC Steam event page, where livestreams will be featured alongside the Steam sale.
Many participating creators will also host Steam game key giveaways, with keys provided by participating developers through the EAIGC creator program. Giveaway rules and participation details will vary by creator, so players are encouraged to check each creator’s channel for more information.
