Disney’s Twisted Wonderland: The Animation will return for a second season this December. Titled Episode of Savanaclaw, the new season will stream exclusively via Disney+, focusing on characters Leona Kingscholar, Ruggie Bucch, and Jack Howl.
Twisted Wonderland: The Animation is an adaptation of the Twisted Wonderland mobile game, which re-imagines popular Disney villains as students attending a magical academy. The game features concepts and character designs by manga artist Yana Toboso, who is best known for creating the Black Butler series.
The first season of the anime, Episode of Heartslabyul, premiered on Disney+ in October 2025, where it became the most-watched anime title on the platform within just seven days of airing. A third season, Episode of Octavinelle, has already been greenlit ahead of the second season’s release.
